Who we are

MamaBee is built and operated by Realm Labs Studio ("we", "us"). Contact: support@realmlabs.app.

Who can use MamaBee

MamaBee is intended for adults (18+) who want to track an infant in their care. Children are not users of MamaBee — only adult parents, guardians, or caregivers. If you're using the app on behalf of someone else's child (e.g. as a nanny or grandparent), you confirm you have permission from the parent/guardian to do so.

Your data, your account

• All tracking data lives on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled). You own it.
• Deleting the app or tapping Profile → Account → Delete Account wipes everything irreversibly. We can't recover it for you.
• You're responsible for backing up your own data (the in-app Export tool gives you CSV / PDF whenever you want).

What MamaBee is — and what it isn't

• It is: a logging and reminder tool to help you remember what happened and when.
• It is NOT: medical advice, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for a paediatrician. If your baby is unwell, call a real doctor. AI insights, sleep predictions, growth percentiles, and milestone guidance are all informational only.

MamaBee AI Assistant

The AI Assistant is a convenience feature powered by a third-party model (Google's Gemini Flash). When you use it:

• It can be wrong. AI hallucinates. Treat its answers as a starting point, not a final word.
• We only send the data described in the Privacy Policy ("MamaBee AI Assistant"). Never your baby's name, photo, or free-text notes.
• Don't use the assistant to get a medical diagnosis. It will refuse, and you shouldn't trust it if it doesn't.

Premium subscriptions

• MamaBee Premium is billed through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing subscription.
• Pricing, renewal, free trials, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• If you cancel, your existing logs stay; only premium AI features turn off.
• We may change pricing or feature inclusion for new subscribers, but we won't downgrade what existing subscribers already paid for in a current billing period.

Acceptable use

Don't use MamaBee to:

• Track or surveil anyone other than a child in your direct care.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Abuse, spam, or attempt to extract bulk responses from the AI Assistant.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to disable abusive use of cloud-backed features (currently: the AI Assistant) without notice.

Service availability

• The app runs primarily on your device, so it works even when we're offline.
• Cloud-dependent features (AI Assistant, iCloud sync) depend on third parties (Google, Apple) and aren't guaranteed to be available 100% of the time.
• We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice and (where required) a prorated refund.

Intellectual property

• MamaBee, the bee logo, the MamaBee name, and the in-app artwork are owned by Realm Labs Studio.
• The app is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it on devices you own.
• You own the data you log. We claim no rights to your baby's photos, notes, or any other content you put in.

Disclaimer of warranties

MamaBee is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including (but not limited to) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Realm Labs Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the app — even if we've been advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to MamaBee will not exceed the amount you paid us for MamaBee in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in which case, the limits apply to the maximum extent permitted there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, post a note in the app. Continued use of MamaBee after a change means you accept the new terms.
